Happy Birthday, the Roman Spice in a gift tin
Happy Birthday is our Roman Spice in a special edition with its own band label, a culinary gift that always lands. We mix it in our manufactory in Klingenberg am Main. Garlic, paprika, tomato flakes, basil and oregano are combined in balanced proportions, with no heat and no single dominant note, a mild family blend that suits pizza, pasta, roasted vegetables and dips alike.
How to use
Happy Birthday is an all-rounder for Mediterranean cooking. Stir it into tomato and pasta sauces, scatter it over the finished pizza, work it into the ragù sauce for lasagne, mix it with olive oil for fried potatoes and roasted vegetables, or stir it into cream cheese and yoghurt dips.
Good to know: Roman Spice is mild and salt-free. Salt your dish to taste and add the herbs early so their aroma develops.

What's in it?

Nothing in the contents. Happy Birthday holds the same Roman Spice, just with the Happy Birthday gift label. For a gift you take the occasion tin, for your own use the regular tin.
Is the Roman Spice hot?
No. It is a mild, balanced family blend without heat. No single spice dominates, so it suits almost all Mediterranean dishes and children enjoy it too.
What is the Roman Spice best suited for?
For all of Mediterranean cooking, from pizza and pasta to lasagne and bakes and on to fried potatoes, roasted vegetables and dips. It is a real everyday all-rounder.
Do I need to add extra salt?
Yes, the Roman Spice is salt-free, so you control the amount of salt yourself. Taste your dish and salt to taste.
