Congratulations, the Curry Anapurna in a gift tin
Congratulations is our Curry Anapurna in a special edition with its own band label, a gift for curious cooks. We mix it in our manufactory in Klingenberg am Main. Curry Anapurna brings together the full breadth of classic Indian spices: fenugreek, turmeric, cumin, coriander, fennel, chili, garlic and ginger. Well balanced, with a noticeable but not overwhelming heat.
How to use
Congratulations is an all-round curry. Season curries with meat, prawns, tofu or vegetables in coconut milk or tomato sauce, stir it into rice dishes and bowls, add it to lentil and chickpea soups, or mix it with yoghurt as a marinade for poultry, lamb and prawns.
Good to know: Curry powder tastes best when you roast it briefly. Add it early to onions or oil in the pan so the essential oils develop before any liquid goes in.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Congratulations and the regular Curry Anapurna?
Nothing in the contents. Congratulations holds the same Curry Anapurna, just with the Congratulations gift label. For a gift you take the occasion tin, for your own use the regular tin.
How hot is Curry Anapurna?
Piquant but not overwhelming. The heat is noticeable and well balanced, so the other spices are not lost. If you prefer it milder, use the blend a little more sparingly.
What is the difference between Curry Anapurna and Thai Curry?
Curry Anapurna is a classic Indian blend with fenugreek, turmeric and cumin. The Thai Curry is South East Asian in character, with lemongrass and galangal, and suits coconut milk dishes especially well.
How do I use the curry best?
Roast it briefly in oil or with onions before you add liquid. This develops the essential oils and the curry tastes rounder and more aromatic.
