Potatoes are a true classic – simple, versatile, and always delicious. Whether boiled potatoes, creamy mash, crispy fries, or hearty fried potatoes – the right seasoning turns the humble tuber into a highlight. At Altes Gewürzamt, founded in 2001 by top chef Ingo Holland in Klingenberg am Main and now run by his son Kilian Holland, you will find 41 spices and blends to suit every potato dish.

Our top bestseller: Holland's French Fry Seasoning for fries, baked potatoes, and fried potatoes – the essential seasoning. For crispy fried potatoes: Fried Potato Seasoning with onion, garlic, and fine herbs. For creamy mash: nutmeg and white pepper. For sweet and crispy sweet potatoes: Cajun Spice or Ras el Hanout.

Use in Your Kitchen

Brown the fried potatoes well before adding the seasoning, otherwise it will burn. Mix the fries or baked potatoes with olive oil and the blend, then bake or fry.
