How to use
- Pesto and aioli, the classic use, mortar pine nuts, garlic, salt and herbs into a creamy paste
- Spice blends, freshly grind whole spice seeds for curry pastes, Garam Masala or Ras el Hanout
- Pepper and coarser textures, fresh pepper from the mortar is more aromatic than from a mill
- Herb pastes, work parsley, basil, sage into pastes
- Plating, thanks to its size also suitable for family quantities
Good to know: rinse with warm water and rub dry, do not use washing-up liquid. Granite does not absorb odours, so detergent is not needed. Let it dry before the next use. Not for very hard materials such as hartshorn salt or frozen foods.
