Product description

Get well soon, the Herbes de Provence in a gift tin

Get well soon is our Herbes de Provence in exclusive quality, in a special edition with its own band label, a sunny gesture to cheer up and recover. We mix it in our manufactory in Klingenberg am Main. Thyme, rosemary, savory, sage, marjoram and basil are carefully combined into a dry, aromatic herb blend that gives every Mediterranean dish the scent of southern France.

How to use

Get well soon suits everything meant to taste Mediterranean. Rub the herbs into poultry and lamb before roasting, add them while braising, season Mediterranean fish such as sea bass or gilthead bream in the oven, scatter them with olive oil over roasted vegetables, or stir them into salad dressings and onto focaccia.

Good to know: Dried herbs release their aroma slowly. Add them early to the dish or let them steep briefly in warm oil so the essential oils develop fully.

Provence roasted vegetables with Get well soon in 4 steps

  1. Cut courgette, pepper, aubergine and red onions into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix them with olive oil and one to two teaspoons of Get well soon Herbes de Provence.
  3. Spread everything on a baking tray and bake at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
  4. Turn once, salt to taste and serve warm.

What's in it?

The Mediterranean base is built from thyme, rosemary and marjoram, with savory for the spicy note and basil for the fruity freshness. Sage rounds off the blend with a bitter depth.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Get well soon and the regular Herbes de Provence?
Nothing in the contents. Get well soon holds the same Herbes de Provence in exclusive quality, just with the Get well soon gift label. For a gift you take the occasion tin, for your own use the regular tin.

What does exclusive quality mean?
For the exclusive blend we use especially carefully selected, aromatic herbs and a balanced ratio. The result is more intense and rounder than many standard blends.

What is the difference from Italian herbs?
Herbes de Provence come from southern France and rely on thyme, rosemary and savory. Italian blends usually put oregano and basil in the foreground. Our Provence blend is more bitter and resinous.

When is the best time to add the herbs?
Dried herbs need a little time. Add them early when braising and roasting or let them steep briefly in warm oil, then they develop their full aroma.

Thyme, marjoram, rosemary, savory, sage, basil.
