Coarse sea salt is filled into a thin, 3- to 5-year-old bamboo tube and sealed with ochre clay. It is fired over a pinewood and resin fire at 1000 to 1500 degrees Celsius.
It is then ground again and dried.

Use:
Very delicate and salty in flavor. Add carefully to salads and raw or cooked vegetables.
