Natural rock salt, fine – pure mine salt for everyday cooking
Pure, finely ground rock salt from traditional salt mines. A practical everyday salt with a clear, mild salt note and a fine grain. Quick-dissolving and ideal for late seasoning.
How to use
A classic for salting meat, vegetables, potatoes and pasta water. Also for soups, sauces and baked goods. A detailed description of the salt as well as the recipe for salted almonds can be found in the book „Salz“ by Ingo Holland.
Important: store dry and well sealed. Should the fine salt clump through moisture, it can easily be broken up again.
Recipe: salted almonds
Roast 200 g almonds briefly in the oven at 160 °C, moisten with 1 tbsp egg white, fold in 1 tbsp fine natural rock salt and roast for another 8 minutes. Delicious with an aperitif.
