Rubbed lovage – the real Maggi herb
Lovage is a classic of fine cuisine. Its intensely savoury, lightly hearty taste is reminiscent of celery and lends dishes a deep, aromatic note. Our lovage is gently rubbed and carefully processed to preserve its full aroma. Packed in our workshop in Klingenberg am Main.
How to use
Even small amounts give soups, stews, broths and sauces a harmonious seasoning. In potato and vegetable dishes, stocks, herb butter and dips, too, lovage unfolds its characteristic taste.
Important: Dose very sparingly, as the aroma is intense. Best added towards the end of the cooking time so the fine seasoning is preserved. Store dry, cool and protected from light in the sealed tin.
