Product description

Sylt wild berry salt – a fine-fruity seasoning salt with elderberry and lingonberry

All-natural Sylt sea salt combined with black pepper, elderberries, lingonberries and wild blueberries – blended and packed in our workshop in Klingenberg am Main. The fine-fruity berry sweetness meets a lightly hot pepper depth, making this salt an aromatic finish for game, poultry and local fish.

Taste and aroma

Fruity and lightly sweet from the three kinds of berry, with the mineral saltiness of Sylt sea salt and a discreetly hot pepper note on the finish. The berries also give the salt dark, reddish flecks.

How to use

As a finishing salt over the finished dish: ideal with duck breast, game, poultry and local fish. Also with pot roast, root vegetables and – as a surprise – over chocolate cake or dark chocolate. Scatter a pinch just before serving so the berries and pepper keep their aroma.

Important: No anti-caking agents, so shake briefly before use. Store dry and tightly closed so the salt does not clump.
