At Altes Gewürzamt, founded in 2001 by top chef Ingo Holland in Klingenberg am Main and now run by his son Kilian Holland, you will find over 20 varieties packaged in our own manufactory.

Classics for every kitchen: sweet paprika powder for goulash, letscho and vegetable dishes, smoked paprika for BBQ, marinades and Spanish cuisine, chili flakes for pasta and pizza. Rarities for cooking experts: ancho chili, guajillo, piment d'Espelette and habanero.

Craftsmanship instead of industrial production – purely plant-based, without additives

Sourced as single varieties from their growing regions, personally inspected and packaged in small batches in our manufactory. We consistently refrain from using flavor enhancers, anti-caking agents and artificial aromas. All our chili and paprika varieties are purely plant-based. Packaged in our well-known green tin can – protected from light and airtight.

Application in your kitchen

Sweet paprika is ideal for classic goulash and braised dishes. Smoked paprika gives BBQ rubs and marinades their typical smoky note. Sprinkle chili flakes over pasta, pizza or soup as a finishing touch. Use the hotter varieties carefully and taste at the end.
