Also known as Maggi herb. Freeze-drying preserves both its color and its intense aroma. Contact with liquid restores it to its almost fresh state. The aroma is somewhat more bitter than that of celery.
Please close tightly and store in a dry place, as all freeze-dried products are highly hygroscopic, meaning they attract water. This natural behavior leads to clumping.
Use:
Excellent in braised dishes, soups, and stews. Also delicious with tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, potatoes, legumes, eggs, and pork. Please use the same amount as for parsley and celery.
